Meet the Coach

Practical Coaching. Focused on Moving Forward.

I’m Pete Huntsinger, founder of Managing the Day Today® and creator of THE ONE TASK. I’ll be your coach and guide as you work toward completing your ONE TASK.

I created THE ONE TASK around a simple idea: knowing what needs to be done doesn’t always make it easy to do. You can understand the task, know why it matters, and even have a plan and still struggle to take action and follow through.

Sometimes the problem isn’t knowing what to do. It’s understanding what’s getting in the way of doing it.

My approach to coaching is practical, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. It’s not about simply telling you to try harder or giving you another system to manage. Instead, we work together to understand where you’re getting stuck, what may be getting in the way, and what needs to change. From there, we identify your ONE Next Action and keep working toward one clear goal: getting your ONE TASK DONE.

My background includes training in ADHD coaching and executive functioning, Brain Injury Fundamentals through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS), and experience supporting individuals and families facing challenges that can affect everyday functioning and follow-through. I am also a Certified Dementia Practitioner® and a California Department of Social Services Registered Home Care Aide.

I also bring decades of experience as a business owner, where getting things done in the real world often means adapting when plans change, solving problems, and continuing to move forward when things don’t go as expected.

As your guide through THE ONE TASK, my role isn’t to do the task for you. It’s to help you understand where you’re getting stuck, identify what may need to change, take action, follow through, and keep moving until your ONE TASK is DONE.
