→ Observe what happens
→ Adjust & take the next action

We Will Start With a Foundation Session.
We Keep Moving With Action Coaching Checkpoints.
THE ONE TASK begins with a 50-minute Foundation Session where we identify your ONE TASK, define what DONE looks like, understand where you’re getting stuck, and establish your first ONE Next Action.
Together, we’ll explore The Four Contributors—Wiring, Regulation, Depletion, and Task Design to better understand where you may be getting stuck, what may need to change, and what can help you move your task toward DONE.
From there, you move into REAL ACTION. As you work toward completing your task, you’ll have access to up to six 25-minute Coaching Checkpoints to review your progress, work through obstacles, make adjustments, and determine what needs to happen next.
The task determines the coaching. The goal isn’t to complete a series of sessions, it’s to keep moving your ONE TASK toward DONE.
50-Minute Foundation Session
CONNECT — We get to know you and understand why you’re here.
DEFINE YOUR ONE TASK — We name the work and clarify what DONE looks like for you.
WHY IT MATTERS — We look at what avoidance is costing you and what moving forward could give you.
UNDERSTAND YOUR AVOIDANCE LOOP — We use the Four Contributors to see what’s getting in your way.
MAP YOUR AVOIDANCE LOOP — We map your real avoidance pattern.
CONNECT THE DOTS — We decide what needs to change first.
BEGIN YOUR ROADMAP — Establish your first ONE Next Action and prepare to move into REAL ACTION.
Up to Six 25-Minute Action Coaching Checkpoints
Short, focused sessions designed to keep your ONE TASK moving toward DONE.
CHECK IN — Where are you now?
REVIEW — What happened since we last met?
IDENTIFY — Where are you getting stuck?
ADJUST — What needs to change?
RESET & RETURN — Get back on track when needed.
CHOOSE — What is your ONE Next Action?
COMMIT — When, where, and how will you take action?
REAL ACTION — Put the plan into practice.
Review. Adjust. Take Action. Keep Moving Toward DONE.
REAL ACTION
REAL ACTION is the bridge between coaching and completion. Between sessions, you take what we’ve worked on together and put it into action in your everyday life.
This is where you try your ONE Next Action, notice what happens, learn from the experience, and keep moving your ONE TASK toward DONE.
Coaching Session: Understand / Design / Prepare
Real World: Act / Experience / Observe
Next Session: Review / Learn / Adjust
Real world again: Act Again
The ONE Next Action
You don’t need to figure out the entire task before you begin. Your ONE Next Action gives you enough clarity to move from intention into action. Your ONE Next Action should be:
Specific — You know exactly what you’re going to do.
Manageable — It’s small enough to take action without having to complete the whole task at once.
Useful — It creates real progress.
Clear — You’ll know when you’ve done it.
Connected to DONE — It moves your ONE TASK closer to the FINISH LINE.
The Question: What’s the smallest useful action you can take to move your ONE TASK toward DONE?
