Tamara Huntsinger
Emotional Wellness Coach | Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | Mindfulness Specialist
With over 30 years as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Master’s in Psychology from Chapman University, Tamara Huntsinger brings expertise and compassion to Managing the Day Today. Specializing in supporting caregivers, patients, and families facing cognitive illnesses, cancer, and complex medical diagnoses, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and mindfulness-based strategies to foster emotional clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. Her extensive experience includes individual, family, and group therapy across diverse populations, addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, dementia, and grief in settings like Mission Community Hospital and Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Tamara’s work is deeply shaped by her personal journey as a caregiver and cancer survivor. Having supported her mother with severe mental illness and cancer, her grandmother, aunt, and husbands through serious medical challenges, and her children through complex recoveries, she understands the emotional toll of caregiving. As a survivor of uterine and thyroid cancer, Tamara offers empathetic, practical tools to help clients navigate daily stresses and major life transitions with strength and peace.
Krystal Milosevic
Mental Health Social Worker | Dementia Care Specialist | Family Advocate
With over a decade of experience in mental health social work, healthcare leadership, and family advocacy, Krystal Milosevic is committed to guiding families through the emotional and logistical challenges of serious medical diagnoses at Managing the Day Today. Holding a Master’s in Mental Health Social Work from the University of Southern California, along with advanced certifications in Dementia Care and Facilitative Leadership, Krystal brings deep clinical insight and practical expertise to her work. She has supported caregivers and patients navigating cognitive illness, trauma, chronic illness, and complex recoveries, empowering them to build sustainable routines, access emotional support, and move forward with clarity and resilience. Krystal’s dedication is rooted in her personal experiences as a caregiver and family advocate. As the primary live-in caregiver for her grandmother, a widow with dementia and multiple medical conditions, she managed complex responsibilities. Growing up as the eldest of four children with a father struggling with severe mental illness and addiction, Krystal supported her single mother and siblings through challenging times. These experiences drive her passion for helping families find strength and structure amidst uncertainty, making her an empathetic and effective guide for those facing similar journeys.
Pete Huntsinger
Dementia Care Specialist | Executive Function – Family Advocate
With 35 years of entrepreneurial success, Pete Huntsinger brings exceptional executive function skills to Managing the Day Today, helping caregivers and patients transform chaos into clarity. Honored with the 2010 U.S. Small Business Administration Los Angeles District Office Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year award, Pete has honed organizational, decision-making, time management, and prioritization skills while navigating complex business challenges. His ADHD certification, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) fundamentals certification, and undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University equip him to guide clients in managing daily care responsibilities and complex treatment plans with practical, productivity-focused strategies. As a TBI survivor and caregiver, Pete’s personal experiences deepen his empathy and commitment to supporting others.
Pete’s journey as a caregiver and survivor fuels his passion for this work. Having survived a life-threatening auto accident that required multiple surgeries, hospitalizations, and recovery from complications like MRSA and bone infections, he understands the demands of rehabilitation. He has also been a caregiver for his wife through rare uterine and thyroid cancer, coordinating chemotherapy and daily care while raising two young children, and supported her recovery from a severe traumatic event. Additionally, Pete cared for his mother with dementia, managing her housing and medical needs, and supported his children through complex medical recoveries. His early experience aiding a girlfriend through cancer treatment as a teenager further shaped his dedication to helping caregivers and patients navigate overwhelm with resilience and clarity.
